At Shenley Brook End School, we believe that developing positive learning habits is just as important as developing knowledge and skills. From Year 7 to Year 11, students are assessed through our Attitudes to Learning in School and Attitudes to Home Learning framework, which focuses on the behaviours and characteristics that help students achieve their full potential.
Our approach recognises that learning happens both in the classroom and beyond. Students are encouraged to demonstrate our core values of Be Kind, Work Hard and Be Respectful in their lessons, whilst also showing commitment, organisation and independence in their home learning.
We use the frameworks outlined in the tables below to monitor students' progress and provide feedback to students, parents and carers on their Attitudes to Learning in School and Attitudes to Home Learning.
